I love meditation and use guided meditations daily at bedtime. It is a wonderful form of self-care. If I am wanting to take a nap in the afternoon, but am afraid I will sleep to long or will feel tired instead of refreshed, I'll use a guided meditation instead.
We are hustlers! Every moment of everyday is blocked and booked or if we do have "downtime" it's so easy to numb ourselves and check out with TV and social media. I like to try and use my time to "check-in." Slow down and breathe and let go of all the bull shit and just give yourself permission to recharge and bring that focus inward.
I'll soon be posted my own guided meditations for you all, but in the meantime, I was honored to narrate a guided meditation audiobook and have included a link to it. It is written on my goals list and on my vision board that I will have my own published meditation book and I aim to see that into fruition.
